Abstract

Learning burnout is one of the obstacles in the learning and teaching process, where this burnout affects the results of what has been done, in an activity of course a strategy or method is needed in order to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning, the problems studied in this study are to find out how student burnout study during the Covid-19 pandemic at Mts Al-Ikhlas Tanah Terban, and how the BK teacher's efforts in overcoming student learning burnout, the type of research used in this study was qualitative with a phenomenological approach with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results in this study indicate that student learning burnout during the pandemic is influenced by a) difficulties in understanding learning materials due to lack of concentration in learning, b) learning methods used by teachers are less attractive, c) there are problems from home that make students become lose their enthusiasm for learning, while the efforts made by BK teachers to overcome student learning boredom are by: a) providing light activities aimed at restoring students' enthusiasm for learning, b) conducting individual counseling aimed at restoring a healthy psychological state in students who experience prolonged learning burnout.
