This study aims to describe academic burnout and test whether there are differences in student academic burnout in terms of gender. The sample in this study was 347 students of guidance and counseling students of Indraprasta University PGRI Jakarta, consisting of 40 men and 307 women. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The research design used is a comparative descriptive. The data collection instrument uses an academic bunrout scale. Analyze the data using descriptive analysis, independent test of t-test samples combined with rasch stacking. The results showed that the level of academic burnout of male students was lower than that of women and there were no significant differences in terms of gender. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative type of description. This research was conducted in June 2021. The subjects in this study were students of grade VIII-1 to VIII-5 SMP Negeri 1 Perbaungan School Year 2020/ 2021. Sampling in this study using the purposive sampling technique by determining the criteria that suit the research needs and obtaining samples of as many as 42 students. The research data was collected by mass media questionnaires amounting to 20 statement items and a way of thinking questionnaire amounting to 20 items of statements that have been valid and reliable. Then the data was analyzed using normality tests, hypothesis tests, and linearity tests to find out if there was a significant influence of mass media in shaping students' way of thinking. Then, it can be obtained the results of normality test calculation using a residual value known significance value 0.277 &gt; 0.05 then the residual value in this study is a normal distribution. And the calculation result of the hypothesis test obtained a result of 0.587 &lt; 0.05 / 0.584 &gt; 0.257, while the linearity test with a significance level of 5%, df = 42 is 0.587&lt; 0.05. At SMP N 17 Jambi City, problem solving skills need to be improved because the first school period is a good time to develop problem solving skills both in learning and in everyday life.Students' problem-solving skills can be improved by using information services. There are several methods that can be used and applied in the implementation of services, one of which is using electronic media, one of which is focus sky. In the form of an online-based slide show that presents the appearance of information services to be more attractive.The research carried out is a quantitative research with the type of experimental research in the form of Pre-Experimental in the Intecg-group comparison design. Intecg group comparison. The problem in this study is about improving students' problem solving skills, the researchers took 2 classes or groups as samples. Based on the sampling using purposive sampling technique in accordance with the criteria of the problem and obtained class VIII D as the experimental class and VIII C as the control class.Judging from the results of the post-test in the experimental group using the blended learning method, the average score was 83.00 and the post-test results for the group were at a value of 78.03 so that there was an increase of 3.97% in the experimental group. Then the sig. (2-tailed) i.e. 0.00 &lt; 0.05, where Tcount 3.965 &gt; 2.006 T table at degrees of freedom 64(66-2) at a confidence level of 0.05, it can be found that the average difference between problem solving abilities in student learning experimental group and control group. So that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Social media is a feature or application that functions to socialize online without being constrained by infrequent and time. Social media also displays interesting things in it as a means of entertainment that can be enjoyed by its users. Currently, there are various kinds of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, TikTok and so on. This study aims to reveal the level and influence of social media on the level of student anxiety in working on the thesis on counseling students of FKIP UNJA.The population in this study were Guidance Counseling students class of 2018 as many as 132 students. The sample in this study was 100 students who were taken using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of students working on their thesis and students who access social media such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. This type of research is quantitative, with an expost facto approach. The instrument used in this research is a social media questionnaire and a dass scale. Data were analyzed using formula C, normality test, linearity test, simple regression analysis and t test.The results of this study indicate that in general the level of use of social media is in the high category with a percentage of 76% and the level of anxiety in students in general is in the high category with a percentage of 76%.
